My neighbour cat permanently live here and I just move as well. Do you know what is wrong with her fur or does she just need a shower?
I will take it to a vet way way later as I am saving up too but if this seem like an emergency flea or something, I will go at the end of the month. She is always chilling here so the owner has no idea too.

Are they ticks?
Turf fight with another cat. Ripped chunks of hair out by the looks of it
Could be flea eggs too
I think they might be ticks. Definitely something you should take the cat to the vet about, if they’re paralysis ticks especially. There’s also probably more than just those ones, because they like hiding in other areas. Check the collar if you get the chance, but yeah the poor cat needs them removed and ideally taken to the vet.
Could also potentially be grass burrs stuck in the cats fur. Have you tried pulling them out?
They’re not ticks as they’re quite large and I can’t see an obvious head, they could be [burrs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bur) (also spelt bur); a burr is a way some plants reproduce, the seeds have tiny hooks (a bit like Velcro, in fact they’re what inspired it), which catch on an animal’s fur, or your clothes (a dispersal method known as epizoochory). One of the commonest plants which has burrs is known as ‘[goosegrass](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galium_aparine)’, so named because geese eat it, but its burrs tend to be red.
It’s most likely brushed against a plant that has burrs and they’ve become attached to its fur.
Polystyrene balls?
They look a bit like sticky weed seeds. My dogs get them sometimes. The cat has probably been trying to get them out. Otherwise as someone else said, perhaps the cat has been fighting and a clump of fur has been pulled out.
You could talk to the owner and ask if they are aware of it.
It’s hard to tell from these photos, possibly burrs or seeds of some kind?
I’m more concerned with the overall condition of the cats fur. It’s very dull and the body condition is a bit thin. This baby definitely needs a vet check up.
Who cares don’t touch it. It’s not your business.
Time to start doing the right thing and keep your cat inside.
It’s better for the cat and the wildlife.
Has shit owners who let it roam.
Did you feed it after midnight, or let it get wet?
What suburb are you in? I’m wondering if I know this cat.
