Gotta wonder how many of these people haven’t resigned and are just waiting for the shoe to drop and praying it doesn’t.
And how many are saying “fuck it. I’m president. Don’t care.”
To be precise, jack lang was one of the signatories of a petition against the criminalization of adult and under 15 yo children sexual intercourse in 1977.
He has since been minister of culture.
His defense has been “it was a mistake”
Then his name appears in the Epstein files. His reaction ? He swear he didn’t knew. The problem is Epstein was condamned in 2008, Lang and his daughter had close ties with Epstein (aka a company). There’s no way he wasn’t aware of his sentence. His answer ? “I must be naive”.
The cherry on top : Le Parquet National Financier (National Financial Court) is investigating him and his daughter for “laundering of aggravated tax fraud” since the Epstein files have been made public.

The contrast between Europe and America’s response to this is so eyebrow raising.
Politicians stepping down, Starmer on the verge of being forced out merely for giving a role to someone in the files. Not being in them himself, just hiring someone who was.
America — cheering and yee-hawing and making up excuses to handwave the guy mentioned in the files more than anybody else.
Difference is in Euorpe there are consequences. In Amerika being a pedophile is acceptable now apparently.
