Reform Art.67 of the Constitution with the mandate constraint

In the reformulation proposed by the League, explains a note, article 67 would change as follows: "Each member of Parliament represents the Nation and exercises his functions with a mandate. Members of Parliament who, at the beginning of their mandate or during the legislature, join a parliamentary group that represents a political party or movement different from the one they belonged to at the time of the election lose their parliamentary mandate".

Why is the ban on tenure so important?
