  1. The EU top diplomat is right. For one beautiful moment, 27 different countries stopped arguing about fishing rights and cheese regulations just to agree that they didn’t want this guy on their Jumbotron. It’s basically the Schengen Agreement but with more whistling.

As an Italian I was sorry for the American team and for guys like Hunter who had the courage to expose themselves, but I think Vance truly deserves this and much worse. They haven’t even apologized for trumps statement on natos allies in Afganistan, not even behind closed doors with Meloni, calling it a communication mistake. Fuck you

“Olypic crowd joins together in trendy booing of “insert trending alogan here” non-lefty US politician rather than booing their owm shitty leaders who are actively destroying their futures”

  4. No need to pretend it was just about Vance. Europeans have never liked Americans and are using this as an opportunity to let it out.

For someone that was on fire when Zelnsky didn’t bring a suit, he surely loves disrespecting the host.

He flew in over a dozen aircraft, 100 SUV that do not fit the streets, and block the roads whenever he moves. He flew in USA food as well.

  6. “The Europeans, they’re so friendly in private and they’re willing to make a lot of accommodations and then publicly they attack us and they say, ‘We’re not going to work with the Americans. We’re not going to do anything with the Americans,’” Vance told talk show host Megyn Kelly in an [interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oit9Xg1YC_0) published Saturday. “I’m sorry. It’s all bogus.””

Well, that’s how you deal with a mad man. You nod, smile, say “sure, whatever you want” while carefully backing away.

  7. For people saying it wasn’t against the US team. That’s a bit simplistic. There are a lot of Republicans on that team as well. And they deserve what has come to them.

Kaja Kallas has a lot of right comments these days, from “time to drink” to this one..

  9. American pride is in being the world’s largest financial, technological and military power.

European pride is in booing some guy at a sporting event.

    Anyone see the problem here?

  10. ladies and gents – that’s the next president of the US and A
.. he’s gonna be even worse douche that the orange one

Good job, Europe. You made many Americans proud too. Many of us hate this whole administration. Booing is why none of them showed up at the Super Bowl either.

  12. I am an American living permanently in Europe, and after 23 years here I can say it saddens me that my home country has turned into such assholes that we get booed at the Olympics like that but I totally understand why and I agree with the reasons. Vance along with the entire administration are rancid pieces of shit and they don’t deserve anything better.

He brought all the cars and food because he’s paranoid as hell that somebody’s going to kill him.
