It’s already gone up in my area

It’s so dumb. If I look at the Services VIC app, of the closest 7 servos to me (Maribyrnong/Maidstone) there’s 3x 1.55 and 4x 2.13
The disparity is ridiculous. The four with high prices are 3 branded Ampol, one EG Ampol, the three lower prices are two Indies and a 7/11.

Until costco drops I wouldn’t expect so. Moorabbin was at 150.7 at close. The main selling point on the membership for me was it was a tiny detour from my commute and they don’t fluctuate their prices with this cycle bullshit, even on major public holidays. Of course there’s very few locations so this doesn’t work for everyone and to be honest, I don’t see that much value in most of what they stock.
2 dollar hotdog/drink goes good tho.

I know fuel prices are going up when I get an email from BP to activate double Qantas points.

I was paying 1.70 for diesel in Pt Augusta. Two days ago. The week before it was about the same. Come back into Victoria and see it up around 2.15. The Eucla roadhouse had it for 2.24! Someone it seriously taking the piss.

The price of crude oil is rising again so it won’t be long until the price of petrol follows.
Because you’ve posted this, it will now go up to 224.9
It was 50 cents once.
But adjusted for inflation and better fuel economy of modern cars it’s really looppwweww
Nah locals have jumped to 213. Petrol spy says prices going up everywhere
I got an alert from petrolspy that fuel prices are starting to rise further, so I wouldn’t count on it
I’ve already seen it rise to 215 this afternoon in the eastern suburbs
Until the two days before the next Friday public holiday , or 4 days before a Monday public holiday or two days before the next school holidays
Aussie $ is getting stronger, so that should help with the rise in oil $
Lowest I’ve seen is 1.49, but it’s all starting to jump to 2.14 now so that’s the bottom of this cycle.
Nah it’ll start to rise now. But nice to see it so cheap for a bit
Topped up tonight after seeing prices ranging between $1.54 and $2.14
Bruh i filled up at a 7-11 for like 210 in Craigeburn an hour ago. Damn my petrol procrastination habits.
1.53 BPs around Prahran @ 8pm tonight. Who knows if it’s still that now.
1.44 out in Seaford today but 2.14 in Hawthorn. Shit’s wild.
Bloody hope so! I’ve even seen 1.49 in some places! I had never seen it below 1.5 before
To be honest, I’m loving it. I reckon the average is about 153 154. There was one servo in Moorabbin that was chockers.
Prices are increasing.

Fill up now. I’m seeing $2.14 and similar popping up all over the place.
Just before the kids went back to school my local servos were $2.08.9, one suburb over there some servos doing $158.9.
[petrol spy](https://petrolspy.com.au) is your friend 🙂
