  1. It was 50 cents once.

But adjusted for inflation and better fuel economy of modern cars it’s really looppwweww

  2. I got an alert from petrolspy that fuel prices are starting to rise further, so I wouldn’t count on it

  3. Until the two days before the next Friday public holiday , or 4 days before a Monday public holiday or two days before the next school holidays

Lowest I’ve seen is 1.49, but it’s all starting to jump to 2.14 now so that’s the bottom of this cycle.

  5. Bruh i filled up at a 7-11 for like 210 in Craigeburn an hour ago. Damn my petrol procrastination habits.

To be honest, I’m loving it. I reckon the average is about 153 154. There was one servo in Moorabbin that was chockers.

  7. It’s so dumb. If I look at the Services VIC app, of the closest 7 servos to me (Maribyrnong/Maidstone) there’s 3x 1.55 and 4x 2.13

The disparity is ridiculous. The four with high prices are 3 branded Ampol, one EG Ampol, the three lower prices are two Indies and a 7/11.

  8. Until costco drops I wouldn’t expect so. Moorabbin was at 150.7 at close. The main selling point on the membership for me was it was a tiny detour from my commute and they don’t fluctuate their prices with this cycle bullshit, even on major public holidays. Of course there’s very few locations so this doesn’t work for everyone and to be honest, I don’t see that much value in most of what they stock.

2 dollar hotdog/drink goes good tho.

  9. I give it a week before big oil is complaining they arent making enough billions and have to double fuel prices.

  10. I was paying 1.70 for diesel in Pt Augusta. Two days ago. The week before it was about the same. Come back into Victoria and see it up around 2.15. The Eucla roadhouse had it for 2.24! Someone it seriously taking the piss.
