wondering about a traditional dress

hi! im really interested in folklore and painting, so when i stumbled upon this image i knew i had to paint it or at least use it as a reference. im just wondering if anyone knows specifically what region this dress is from, as id like to gather multiple examples of this type of dress. the post said this image was from "macedonia, bulgaria" so its also likely the dress is macedonian
