  1. Okay, what are the actual sources?

I do not like Berlin and can easily tell that there probably is more crime than many Polish cities, BUT it would be super absurd to have more crimes than a whole 37 million people country.

  2. In 2024 Warsaw police refused to search my friend’s bike. It wasn’t counted in this statistic and it’s cheating 😔

  3. People please, just think for a second here. It is completely impossible for this to be true. Poland has less crime, sure. But one big city has more crime than a whole huge country? Just absolutely no chance no matter what you think of crime in the west.

We don’t have sources but I bet it just compares two totally different statistics measuring very different things with very different methodology.

  4. It’s not good for Poland. In a way this is also a problem for Poles. The bigger problems got Europe the bigger is the rise of Right side. In a way this is fuel for party’s like AfD.
Besides, we are part of Europe. What impact Germany it might also impact us.

Do they still have statistics whats nationality person commiting crime had? Sweden stopped publicing it already

  6. Berlin statistics includes misdemeanors (wykroczenia) while Poland is crimes (przestÄ™pstwa) only. That’s the reason. It took me like 15 seconds to get that “secret” info.

It’s so scary how people are inclined to believe such obvious BS if it fits their world view.

  7. Tell me you don’t know how statistics work without actually saying it.
Different laws, different crime definitions, different methodologies of data collection.
