EU’s Kallas is speaking on the main stage now.
In her first response to Rubio’s speech yesterday, she somewhat snarkily says that “contrary to what some may say woke decadent Europe is not facing civilizational erasure,” and says that many countries still “want to join our club – and not just fellow Europeans,” pointing to Canada.
She says that Russia continues to pose a significant challenge.
“This starts in Ukraine, but we know that Russia’s endgame is not Donbas,” she says, pointing to continuing attempts to sabotage or undermine EU countries.
She continues:
“But let’s be clear-eyed about Russia: Russia is no superpower. After more than a decade of a conflict, including 4 years of full-scale war in Ukraine. Russia has barely advanced beyond the 2014 lines, and the cost? 1.2 million casualties.
Today, Russia is broken, its economy is in shreds. It is disconnected from the European energy markets and its own citizens are fleeing.
In fact, the greatest threat Russia presents right now is that it gains more at the negotiation table, then it has achieved on the battlefield.”

Civilizational erasure? I escaped the United States with my family in terror. We were not alone and know many others who have fled or making escape plans. This is a regime with the green light to turn masked death squads on his own people, murder innocent people in the streets with no repercussion, and building up a network of warehouse concentration camps. They are calling any dissident a terrorist and compiling lists. The media is captured and in lock step with the regime. They are mass censoring media and throwing people off the air who are critical of the leader. The entire government hollowed out and replaced by his loyalists. They already had the largest prison population on earth before this but that just wasn’t enough for these demons. They say it’s all about immigration but it’s quite clear it’s an authoritarian fascist takeover in every aspect of life. How many born in Europe are terrorized and desperate enough to escape? Who really is facing civilizational erasure? There is no civilized society left in the U.S.. I don’t think the world fully understands the true depth of how monstrous it is. And they want all this for you too! Enslavement to their criminal pedos and their AI machines.

I don’t know how anyone over the age of 40 can buy into this “civilisational erasure” rhetoric, because the same, verbatim rhetoric has been going on for 20+ years. Nothing — absolutely **nothing** — that was supposed to happen “in a few years” has actually happened. A textbook “crying wolf” situation, yet people still believe the wolf is just around the corner.
