As a Dane I sometimes wonder how big Kim Larsen was in Norway. In Denmark everybody knows him, and many of his song, and I’ve just seen a documentary about him, where his guitarist says that Kim Larsen once stepped out of their tour bus in Norway, and suddenly hundreds began to gather around him to get his autograph.
So how big was Kim Larsen in Norway?

I’m born in the early 70s and grew up with Kim Larsen, but my kids don’t know who he is if that make sense.
Im born in the mid 90s so I grew up with both gasolin and kim Larsen but I think his music is more famous with older generations.
