
I bought these in Marbella. I am running out and I would like to buy more. I tried ordering on their website to have delivered to the US and it’s not recognizing my mailing address. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get some bags of coco garrapiñado to La Mesa, CA?

This is the type of thing you could make at home fairly easy.
It’s not really a Spanish staple either (coco doesn’t really grow in Spain – this probably comes from the Caribbean), compared to for example almonds prepared this way.
Take a few laminated coco tablets (unroasted), add about ~~two thirds~~ one third of the weight of the coco in brown sugar, add just enough water to disolve the sugar. Apply slow heat while mixing until it turns a golden brown, or go a bit darker for more flavour. Scoop it with a spoon, possibly sprinkle some coco on top. Let it cool for a bit on waxed paper or any non sticky surface.
