Sure, “consensual sex” with a trafficked girl is certainly a thing that can happen. 🙄
Epstein making a lot of other wild claims about his own innocence in his response to that email, too.
The question has never been about whether he had any kind of relationship with Giuffre – she has said it happened, it was consensual, she was an adult at the time.
The issue is what else Andrew was up to out there, this story is just seemingly trying to distract from that.
He gives 12 million to someone he claimed he’d never met, but it was consensual. I don’t understand!
Of course she consented. She knew what would happen to her if she refused.
Trying to bring factors like ‘she didn’t say no’ into this completely twists what was going on. These were girls who were groomed and coerced and threatened into being playthings for the rich. We’ve only heard the tip of the iceberg regarding how they were treated, and if anyone thinks that there were only a handful of girls, who are all now women who can speak out, then they’re dreaming.

this isn’t really any sort of smoking gun email.
its an email from a journalist AFTER the story had broken, repeating the claims of the story and saying how it might impact on Epstein.
Im sure she totally consented and wasn’t coerced/pressured/felt like she had to at all.

Consensual sex is:

At worst it was coerced, at best it was transactional.

The man should just come out and admit guilt. he has no defense anymore and everything he’s said has proven to be lies or fabrication. His wife was clearly just as deranged with her fawning over Epstein.
Family means something but I don’t blame the King or William hanging him out to dry they were quite rightly worried this would seriously damage the monarchy itself given it’s likely the late queen was his biggest protector.
One can only hope this was out of an admirable but misplaced mothers loyalty to her son and not anything more nefarious. Protecting the image of the monarchy being obvious of course.
Andrew is clearly a slimeball but looking into the case as much as I have I don’t think he’s guilty of any crime. Virginia Giuffre had a track record of changing timelines to pursue charges.
It’s not consensual if she doesn’t have the right to say no. She was being trafficked to powerful people who were capable of murder. If you say yes because you fear for your life that’s not exactly consent. It’s coercion.
