Half the buildings on this site are derelict tin and timber a few years away from collapsing under their own rust while the rest are riddled with asbestos.
Beyond protecting **maybe** a couple of the old red brick buildings and the gateway, I don’t see why the rest shouldn’t be delisted for the sake of the whole city.
Heritage laws are insane
Just because something is old, doesn’t mean it has value. Buildings sever their purpose and die a natural death.
Lol, heritage retaining walls! What a joke. Bulldoze the whole thing and let them build something the public want.
