  1. “Oh, no, my corrupt European government won’t let me see those massive files on this world wide rich pedophile network, please Trump, you are our only hope!” /s

  2. What banned content they exactly want us to access? And what is exactly banned, that wouldn’t be harmful and incriminating material in any civilised country (and that includes the US)?

  3. uhh what? The only thing that actually get shut down in Europe is websites that sell drugs, openly neonazi websites, child porn, terrorism, and RT 😀

And all of them first get a notice to remove any illegal content before any further legal action is taken. 😀

Is this the shit US builds a website for? And why? Twitter already exists 😀

  4. I think something, if Europe did the same with things banned in the USA (from various books on up to some famous files), they would shout so much across the pond that it would annoy even the aliens in the 7th galaxy from here..

but what is banned in europe? collected works of some nazis? political pamphlets of murderers like that norwegian who killed a bunch of children?

if such things are something that the american administration considers to be things that should not be banned, that says more about them than about europe.

I would like to know what excactly is banned, but there is nothing on the website at this moment for me.
But government censorship is becoming more common all over the world, including the US and EU.

  6. Myeah, site doesn’t say much and is useless currently. Probably will spy the hell out of you. It’s probably an indirect move against all the current age verification policies

  7. I’m from Lithuania, the only website that I know of which is banned by the government is a torrent website similar to thepiratebay. Which is highly ironic, because it got banned by the pressure of US companies like Microsoft and Disney.

  8. I bet you the website will not really be functional when launched. It’s just something to drive a false narrative, the existence of the site itself is the whole point, not concerns about freedom of speech in the EU.

So, I’m not some internet network specialist but like… what’s stopping EU countries from just banning that site like any other site sharing illegal content? 😅

  10. So basically a cesspool of corporate ads, conspiracy theories, racist memes, hypocritical fake Christian momfluencers peddling voodoo health and lifestyle products. An online metaphor for the basket case that MAGA has made the US into.

EU might consider retaliating by creating an opengov portal for US users showing political donations, voting record, Epstein Files, govt contracts awarded to Trump’s family and cronies, news, information and content that is banned by US censors (e.g. as the FCC banned sections of the Colbert Show a few days ago, or climate or gun violence data that they have now scrubbed or footage shot within ICE detention facilities that they have banned)

Its because the US government is currently run by internet bros who believe everything they see on the internet (but kinda only pay attention to their little echo chamber).

  12. Yeah I’ll stick with my VPN. I’m not putting my searches through an american government server.

  13. We should build “Big Fat Euro ICE-Tracking” and “Fast-check Epstein/Trump files” in response.

  14. Soooo….a VPN? On the browser? And why would we want to give our web history to the US government anyways? Colour me confused…Oh, wait, this is for the people that don’t know what they are doing on the internet or get confused when asked what browser they use, Gotcha.

  15. Let’s build a website to let Americans access books banned in US-public library’s since 2025.

Can we ask EU to build a site to release the rest of the Epstein Files, since they are not releasing them to US people.?

What content is the EU banning?

I’d like to see addresses to European news sites that don’t have paywalls. The censorship is US by way of corporate kowtowing to pedo-orange.

  18. doxxingyourself on

Okay so if we’re so oppressed why don’t our governments just ban that website?

Not very well thought through. This must be for a domestic audience.

  19. Is there a list?

Right now I’m wondering if this is just a bunch of websites that don’t want to conform to the stricter EU privacy standards.

Sometimes I can’t access US websites because instead of implementing the cookies agreement, they just make the site unavailable in the EU.

But that’s not censorship, I’m not the one that would get in trouble for viewing the website. The website is arguably encroaching on my freedom to privacy.
