      I hope he is successful. Then we can start automatically interpreting nazi salutes and slogans as symptoms of a mental health crisis and section anyone doing them in public, no trial or conviction needed to get them off the street and into the treatment their families obviously denied them as children.

      I struggled with mental health for a long time and it got to the point where I would be confrontational if I felt ignored or threatened before I got help. Said a lot of stupid shit. Some very nasty. Some very tragic.

      Never started throwing out Fascist salutes or running as a Far-Right candidate in two different state elections though.

      This guy knew exactly what he was doing and should be punished.

      Mental illness often interferes with impulse control and recognising the appropriate time and place to say what’s on your mind. It rarely installs racism into someone who isn’t already racist.

      A school principal last week was charged with 3 years for possessing CSAM and also reports of being inappropriate in change rooms.

      This guy is facing the possibility of 5 years.

      There is always an excuse to be a nazi that government and judiciary readily accept and sympathise with.
