Hello everyone,
We’ll have a new AMA on Monday. Jan Čihák, author of the book, is visiting us from the Czech Republic "Sarajevo – Trams and trolleybuses".
Jan is an excellent connoisseur of European rail and city traffic, especially Sarajevo. His book covers a comprehensive history of tram and trolleybus traffic in Sarajevo, and dispels many myths related to it. In addition, he is the author of several professional works on public transport in Sarajevo, about which he often gives public reviews.
He is a great friend of BiH and Sarajevo, which he often visits. As he likes to say: he drank too much water from Baščaršija. You will be able to communicate with Jan in our languages, because he knows them very well.
Even last year, when we were planning AMA guest appearances, Jan established himself as one of the more important names. Since we want more guests from the fields of science and culture, and Jan is at their intersection, we thought it important to contact him. Given recent events, it is now more important than ever to host it.
There are few people who can tell us better than Jan what the real state of Sarajevo’s trams, city traffic, and GRAS is. That’s why I invite you to ask questions on Monday from 08:00, and Jan will answer them after 17:00.
As always, any questions posted after 5:00pm will be deleted. Until then, we ask that you read and abide by our subreddit rules. The AMA will be actively moderated, with zero tolerance for rule violations.
Below I am attaching several reports about Jan and his book from the local media. Anyone interested in purchasing the book can do so by writing to [sarajevobook.ba@gmail.com](mailto:sarajevobook.ba@gmail.com).

If there are any changes, you will be notified later. Thank you all for your attention and see you on Monday!
