I made a complaint to Australia Post immediately after a laughable “attempted delivery” while I was at home the whole time. In their defense – they sent it straight to the local LPO and the postie sheepishly returned an hour later.

  1. The photo illustrates AP’s attempt to claim a delivery was attempted, screenshot directly from the app.

I’m not sure how often they remediate as quickly as this (my first time through the process) but this was the form I submitted through: [https://helpandsupport.auspost.com.au/s/delivery-issue](https://helpandsupport.auspost.com.au/s/delivery-issue)

    I selected “Postie didn’t knock”.

  2. What’s the point of the picture?! Literally says nothings And the post for that matter? It is hardly news that a postie sometimes doesn’t deliver when perhaps they should.

  3. Am I missing something? I don’t see anything that shows how quickly it was rectified or brought back, just a screenshot of a pic of a label with details (rightfully) redacted and a link to Aus post.

OP, you’re gonna need to break this down more. Where’s the win?

  4. My mum had something similar happen. Her and my sister stayed home all day waiting for a big parcel to be delivered. Nothing. They get the text saying no luck delivering and to go to the post office after 4pm or whatever it was.

She watched the security footage. Delivery guy parked in front of the driveway, got out and put the slip into the letterbox. He didn’t even come down the driveway to knock or anything. My mum called, said she had the footage and that they ordered this thing to be delivered because they couldnt collect it themselves, it was too big and my mum is disabled. The guy came back a few hours later and delivered it.
