In Yalova, a family who introduced themselves as “tribal members” attacked a father and his 14-month-old daughter waiting in the pita queue with a stick. The little girl’s skull was broken and her father’s nose was broken in the attack.

The father and his 14-month-old daughter, who were attacked by neighbors with whom they had long-standing problems in Çınarcık district of Yalova, were taken to the hospital.

Allegedly, the family with 4 children who moved into the house they bought about a year ago in the Esenköy town of Çınarcık district were subjected to pressure from the family living in the building and calling themselves tribal.

Claiming that they were asked to move out of the building by leaving bullets and notes in front of their house, the victim family reported the situation to the gendarmerie and filed a complaint.

Themselves "we are tribal" MB (34), who met the suspects on the road two days ago, who allegedly said that they were from Van, reported the situation to the gendarmerie because he was threatened again.

MB, who handed over the in-car camera footage to the gendarmerie team who came to the scene and wanted to go home to break the fast, was approached by Ş.E. He attacked with wood.

While the suspect, who hit the little girl’s head and her father’s nose with wood, was detained by the teams at the scene, the other suspect, SE, who had previously been given a restraining order, was released.

Ş.E., who was referred to the judicial authorities after his procedures at the gendarmerie. While he was arrested, the father and his daughter were treated at Yalova Training and Research Hospital.

During the attack, the little girl suffered cracks on her head, and father MB suffered fractures in his nose and head area.

Making statements to journalists at the hospital, MB said that since he worked in Istanbul, he could only come to his house in Esenköy, where they reside, on weekends.

MB stated that he and his neighbor SE, with whom he had been at odds before, experienced the incident just before iftar on Friday, and said:

"I last returned home with my daughter on Friday. When I met him on the street he said, ‘What are you looking at?’ I went inside with our fasting mouths and called the gendarmerie. When the gendarmerie arrived, I went out, removed my dashcam and handed it over to the gendarmerie. I said, ‘I’m breaking my fast and coming.’ The girl was in my arms. I am not a father who is unconscious enough to hold my daughter in my arms and go to a fight. They did this to me and my daughter in the presence of gendarmerie personnel. Since I have 4 children, they were disturbed by the sound and noise. This was a summer place. Don’t we have the right to live here?

This incident took place even though this person had a restraining order. My daughter’s skull is cracked right now. I have a broken nose too. We are afraid to go home in this situation. As I was entering with my daughter, they hit me with wood. Half of the wood hit my shoulder and the other half hit my daughter’s head. This person who hit us was arrested, but the person who has been dealing with us and my children for 9 months and has a restraining order and cautionary order is still walking around freely. Where should I take these 4 children and go? To whom should we take refuge, from whom should we ask for help? We also left bullets and received notes and threats such as ‘Leave here’, as recorded in the minutes before. We are complaining, we want what is necessary to be done."
