    The fence was installed soon after the deck was opened. So maybe a few…

    $500m or whatever for a couple of riverbank desks and some shrubbery seems a bit steep, btw.

  3. We live in a world where the government needs to put up signs at the top of cliffs telling people to not walk to and stand at the cliff edge

    Some people are just that hopeless/reckless/dumb (take your pick for which word you feel is most appropriate)

    i’m not trying to say anything about either the city, so no one come at me, I’m just pointing out relevant information.

    In Sydney along all those Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, they don’t have any fencing, so I assume these fences will be removed at some point, there’s no reason why one city would need them and the other one wouldn’t

  5. there’s a bunch of them across the river for Moomba, was rowing earlier td and the straight up to Flinders st past swan st bridge was closed as they were adding more of them
