And like clockwork, once again NASA suffers a setback and here come all the doomsayers talking about how the whole program is a boondoggle, what’s the point, yadda yadda yadda.
I want space exploration. I grew up on space books in elementary school and fantasized about going there in person. I want NASA to have a bigger budget than our defense spending. But if they’re gonna spend most of their funding on delays because of the Senate’s bullshit jobs program model, then just pull the plug. That money could either be dedicated to repairing roads or revamping our public education system.
China will land on the moon before we do and they will deserve it.
I keep trying to tell everyone that it’s going to blow up. Human life will be lost going back to the moon.
God NASA sucks. SpaceX would have blown up 4 starships by now.
