I would like our country to take a more actice position when international laws and human rights are violated, no matter which country it is.

No, it’s not our role to take any action except humanitarian missions eg sending specialists to Israel for medical assistance.

The question is why? We have barely any military nor are part of NATO? i feel we can’t do more except sanctions that never worked and only hurt our economy (as others don’t play along)

What do you expect them to do? It’s not like international law nowadays is worth any more than the paper it’s printed on (whether we may like it or not). It’s power politics. Virtue signalling doesn’t help anyone.
They only take action when it’s in favor of the US. Like with Venezuela.

As Italian politician Antonio Razzi (who apparently has lived and worked in Switzerland for quite a while) used to say “Fatte li cazzi tua…” which is a very nice position these days. Let’s Raclette&Ski while the rest of the world goes on fire, while we think about FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early).

What else are we supposed to do? Sanction the US? Send our jets on our non existent aircraft carriers to Israel and bomb them? Guys, we need to stay realistic for once.
