I didn’t know that the Baltic intelligence agencies claim that Russia isn’t involved in the cutting of undersea cables.
But I am skeptical whether they actually believe that it’s instead just coincidence and may be caused by more traffic in the Baltic Sea, more cables, more media attention and worse ship conditions (Russia’s shadow fleet).

>Russia has so far not achieved any of its major goals in Ukraine.
Land corridor to Crimea.
Gaining population from occupied territories.
Expanding Russian territories, possibly with official recognition.
Destroying Ukraine as state in mid-long term.
Tying Ukraine into be ‘neutral’ state by occupying 20% of it’s territory.
For the analyst who “was responsible for analyzing intelligence on Russia at Estonia’s Foreign Intelligence Service”, he is quite uniformed

Very interesting how Estonia’s intelligence of yeah no immediate invasion threat and Russia is failing is in steep contrast with Lithuania’s intel of existential threat and Russia will engage in war with NATO by the end of the decade
