As in previous years, the most stolen items are food, drink and hygiene items. A hit among thieves is usually canned tuna, coffee, chocolate, chocolate spreads, yogurts, beer, alcohol, bakery products and the like, but the new trend is to dispose of 100-gram packages of salami and cheese on a larger scale.
The MUP reminds that the criminal offense of theft is prescribed in Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Croatia, and according to that article imprisonment for up to three yearswhoever takes a movable thing from another with the aim of illegally appropriating it will be punished.

A ne pita se koliko od nas kradu…
…prije bih Bosu stavio iza rešetaka nego nekog tko ne može si priuštiti jest.
Nekak mi se čini da ljudi ne kradu hranu iz obijesti ili materijalne koristi.
Za razliku od nekih koji ukradu i zamrače milijune.
