When I started the fundraiser, I had in mind that because of the need to do the surgery and chemotherapy immediately, I would need money to go privately. In the end, through acquaintances from here and there, the surgery was done in the public, at the People’s Hospital to be precise, and the chemotherapy is done at the Alexandra Hospital.
The cancer is a malignant neoplasm in the left testicle (it was removed) with metastasis in the lymph nodes of the surrounding area.
There has already been a lot of help from friends but the situation has dragged on longer than I expected and it will drag on even longer.
I am currently on the third of four rounds of chemotherapy, each lasting 21 days. I have been on sick leave since December 28 and I receive 75% of my declared salary, which comes to 796 euros. Of course, in the first month I received my payment normally and 75% from him and 25% from the employer. But from now on I’m at 796.
After chemotherapy, there is a possibility to perform a second surgery to remove lymph nodes in the abdominal area where the metastasis has occurred. This will be judged by imaging examinations, axial, shortly after the end of chemotherapy.
The chemotherapy treatments, if there is no delay, will end on Easter Sunday.
The money I need is for the transportation costs from Nea Artaki to Athens, airbnb for the first 5 days of the treatments *, PPC bills, water, internet, rent, a loan, and other household expenses for the maintenance of a family with a 15-month-old girl, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.
*each cycle of chemotherapy lasts 21 days. For the first 5 days of the cycle I am in the hospital every day and then I go on the next two Mondays. For example, the cycle now started on 2/3 and ends on 22/3. I will have to be in the hospital from 2/3 to 6/3 9/3 and 16/3.
Whatever is left over until I go back to work and start getting a full salary will be donated to a foundation for people with cancer.

Βλέπω πολλούς ανθρώπους, ειδικά στο site του fundraiser, οι οποίοι κάνουν ό,τι μπορούν και πιστεύουν πως δεν δίνουν αρκετά χρήματα.
Σας το λέω ειλικρινά, έστω ένα σχόλιο εδώ για περαστικά, ένα προσωπικό μήνυμα με ερωτήσεις, ή ένα upvote ή οτιδήποτε τέλος πάντων, βοηθάει περισσότερο απ’ όσο νομίζετε.
Η ψυχολογία παίζει τεράστιο ρόλο και πάλι καλά από την πρώτη μέρα είμαι αισιόδοξος. Τώρα όμως που έχει αρχίσει να τελειώνει η υπομονή, η κούραση αυξάνεται κ.λπ., όλα αυτά που περιέγραψα πιο πάνω βοηθούν.
