      These checks to make it far more restrictive for underage people to not access R18+ content ensuring that only consenting adults are playing these games will totally allow the ACB to relax their classifications of depictions of drug use and sex in games right?…… right?

      Roblox is okay though.. ffs. No actually real effort to protect children, let alone, there’s not that MUCH to protect from. I thought we learned from things like columbine that violent media had no impact on children. Doxxing yourself, and getting selfies of children on the internet held by “trust me bro, I won’t sell or leak this” companies definitely isn’t worse at all.

      I literally had a mum triple check with me at ebgames that the game she pulled off the shelf was GTA 5 because she wanted to buy it for her kids for Xmas. I asked her the kids age and stressed that it was an 18+ game because it is filled with adult content and pointed out the 18+ label.

      She came back a couple of days after Xmas furious at me for allowing her 10yo son to play a game about bashing hookers.

      Lady I told you 3 times it’s an adult game and pointed out the 18+ label. You insisted it was ok and purchased the game for your 10 yo. I gave her her refund but God damn people are stupid.

      GTA Online is a hell of alot tamer than the actual story mode in GTA V.

      Dickhead Albo: We know you are struggling but we won’t help because we are spending money to force adults to to give us their details to play a video game.

      I have never hated a government as much as I hate this one and I have never hated a Prime Minister as much as I hate this asshole. People are constantly complaining about how much they are struggling and this fuckhead stops the Energy Bill Relief that was a small help and instead spends time on banning kids from watching Youtube and forcing adults to hand over all their details to watch porn or play GTA Online.

      I am 34 and started playing GTA Online back in 2015 and after taking breaks I am now playing daily waiting for GTA 6 and now this fucking government says I need to hand over my details just to play a damn video game.

      This is not to protect kids it is to spy on everyone and track everything they do online. It isn’t the governments job to do any of this it is the job of parents. When a MA 15+ movie comes on TV it is the parents job to stop their children watching the movie just like it is a parents job to stop their children watching porn or playing certain video games.

      Kinda crazy that the government needed a whole specific legislation to ban social media for under 16s but for this it’s just the commissioner doing it without parliament.
