Spent 10 days in Oulu, had different Finnish beers and completely fell in love with Kaski and its toasted, subtly smoked flavor. Thank you Finland. I’ll be back once again next winter <3
I’m also a fan of that one. The brewery makes several lovely beers

Try sahti the next time you’re in Finland. Oldest beer style in the world still produced. You can’t really get it outside Finland.

Haha the owner of this brewery is a very close family friend.
Great beer! They also have a restaurant at the brewery that I highly reccomend.

They have won several Finnish and European beer awards, including Best Beer in Finland 🙂 They are really good.

Great beers and the brewer is a great guy. Some years ago, when I was getting into homebrewing, I was visiting the brewery in Virolahti with my brother to buy some beers, as it’s pretty close to our summer place. The owner Mikko happened to be behind the counter, so we chatted this and that about brewing. He then shared with us a bottle of his new imperial stout, and then gave a tour of the brewery. We also got to sample his new pils fresh from the fermenter. He also had some good tips to tell.
