  1. I’m too young to have seen it on TV, but Agro was fucking hilarious whenever I saw YouTube videos of him. RIP Jamie

Sweet Agro 🙁 they took your icecream away from Wendy’s then they took your voice away to heaven 🙁

Thank you for many hours entertainment and the happy part of my childhood, Mr Dunn.

National day of mourning and a free Wendy’s agro icecream for every citizen.

  4. I met Jamie Dunn once and he signed my softball mitt. The signature rubbed off in a day. Vale

  5. Noo, there’s a few episodes uploaded on youtube and every now and then i rewatch them for nostalgia, RIP

Damn, Agro was an Aussie legend, tv has been rubbish ever since he was (probably banned). He hosted Tonight Live instead of Steve Vizard sometimes and it was always spectacular.

Absolutely ETCHED in Australian television legend. Thank you sir for the laughs as a kid and an adult. A simpler time with more laughter. Could use more these days I’m afraid.
    ❤️❤️❤️

The Boris to Aggro to B105 pipeline was real … especially in Queensland.

I was a big fan of aggro was a kid and as a teen had the pleasure of meeting Jamie Dunn several times in social settings. He was very gregarious, funny and warm. Sad day

I will always remember his words –

“Don’t be a dummy! Belt up! Okay?!”

Agro and Dickie Knee. And people say we aren’t cultured. I’ll fucken go anyone who says that. Slash s? Isn’t he in Guns n Roses? Fucken aye they’ll be at Adelaide motorsport festival this year.

  12. I grew up watching agro. Agro came to my local shopping center for a live bit when I was a kid. I don’t know if we randomly walked through and saw him or if mum took is there to see him.

Mum was invited up on stage to kiss agro.

Kids at school didn’t believe me when I tried to tell them haha.

  13. I did work experience at channel 7 in Brisbane back in the 80s and got to be an extra in a Agro sketch on Wombat (along with some other kids). Jamie was a kind and warm person, and all round good dude.

In between takes he was hysterical. I remember him getting presenter Craig to pretend to tie off one of his arms and shoot him up with heroin. R rated Agro would have been the greatest tv show ever! Unless there’s a secret reel somewhere the Australian public will never know what they missed.

    RIP Mr Dunn

  14. This one hurts. Not just a big part of my childhood (though my brother’s even more, I was just a bit too old by that stage for his shows) but a HUGE and important part of Australian culture.

Heck, an icon of an Australian culture we have lost and that feels increasingly distant in these recent years: a time when we were a very different place with different values and a different sense of self. Without trying to sound overly dramatic, today’s news really feels like a part of Australia died.

I watched Boris and Agro as a kid and listened to Jamie on B105 on my commute as an adult. Not many performers are capable of entertaining us on a daily basis over our whole lives, childhood to adulthood. RIP mate.

was at a bucks party many years ago where they’d hired him as some entertainment between activities. he ended up sticking around and joining for a good part of the rest of the night. Whatever they paid, he was worth double. he was a gem. wouldn’t be able to get the same humour nowadays but he had everyone in hysterics and by the time he took off, felt like he was one of the crew. was a top bloke. RIP
