  1. Makes it hard to believe when we keep getting told that inflation is just 3% and $100 buys in 2018 the same as $126 today. The rba even has the audacity to have an image trying to blame wages going up for inflation.

  2. I can’t believe 2018 was 8 years ago. I feel like it’s only been like 3-4 years since 2018.

  3. Some of us are old enough to remember the flurry of activity as servos rushed to add the third digit to their price displays.

  4. So if I bought a houses worth of fuel 8 years ago it would be worth a house today?

    Should have invested in petrol.

  5. I remember the standard was $0.60

On one particular day in 2018.
I specifically remember one day that year filling up with 91 for $1.69. $1.59 was also not uncommon in the 4 years prior as i remember it being a regular price I filled up for in my first few years of driving.
