Even the Minister of Culture Giuli and the government are against it, practically everyone is against it, Buttafuoco’s decision is not clear:

Ma Brussels also “strongly” condemns the Russian presence in Venice and says it is ready, with the Vice President of the European Commission Henna Virkkunen and the Commissioner for Culture Glenn Micallefto examine «further actions, including suspension or termination of an ongoing EU grant to the Biennale Foundation». Clear message: no to Russia’s return to Venice after the suspension in 2022 which coincided with the war in kyiv«unacceptable in the current circumstances», that is, with the invasion still underway and peace far away, as the Culture and Foreign Ministers of 22 countries wrote, including France, Germany, Spain, Romania, Poland…
Therefore, Giuli concluded, the Russian Pavilion in Venice will open«contrary to the opinion of the Italian government», for «the free and autonomous choice of the Biennale which we are required to respect». AND Buttfirepretending not to understand, paradoxically thanked the minister, «because this difference in position – he said – dictated by rules, procedures and laws, even international ones,calls for autonomy of an institution that for 130 years in a special and particular city, such as Venice, has been building the path where closure and censorship are once again outside the entrance of the La Biennale Foundation”.

Bella questa italia farlocca, parla tanto di valori di libertà,di democrazziaah!!!ì.
Deputati pagliacci, governo pagliaccio lecchino, bruxelles idem.
Se avessero così tanta forza nelle loro argomentazioni non avrebbero paura degli atleti paralimpici russi o simili, sarebbero capaci di sconfiggere i Russi o gli Israeliani con delle argomentazioni, non con la censura, che tra l’altro riceve solo la russia nonostante il genocidio in palestina. Ridicoli tutti.
Vabbè ma Pietrangelo Buttafuoco è uno che scriveva sul giornale del MSI. Mi stupisce che si limiti a questo e non chieda di far partecipare i nazisti.
Tra l’altro ricordo quando quel fascio in disguise di Dibba diceva che per aumentare la prularità si dovrebbe avere più gente come Buttafuoco in TV.

La biennale è sempre stata uno spazio di sfogo dell’orgoglio nazionale, non è semplicemente “arte”.
È dove le nazioni fanno a gara a chi fa il padiglione più fico, più ricco, più all’avanguardia.
Immagino che in passato abbiano già avuto ben peggiori problemi, sarebbe bello he qualcuno li ripercorresse.
Gli Stati Uniti ci sono e hanno solamente invaso due stati sovrani negli ultimi due mesi e stanno affamando la popolazione cubana eppure nessuno dice niente
Avete notato che le stesse persone che difendevano il diritto dei nazisti a esporre i loro libri a Più Libri Più Liberi per la difesa della democrazia, sono gli stessi che non vogliono la Russia a nessun evento ma difendo invece la partecipazione di Israele?
