      The terms ‘West,’ ‘Western,’ and ‘the Western world’ have lost their meaning. They once implied a shared set of values, but today that consensus is totally lost.

      And the US will not protect Europe anymore. So he’s kinda behind on what’s happening.

      As an Estonian, it was very interesting to listen to this man, and I have to admit that he may understand us better than we understand ourselves. He seems to be a wise person.
      I would like to see Georgia as a member of the EU, but first it is important to understand that it is a common project where everyone must contribute their part, not only expect others to give to them.

      He is right — Georgia has no real alternative to a pro-Western course.

      But it is hypocritical of him to criticize China for Uyghur deradicalization. If you truly hold Western values, you should not tolerate Uyghur barbarism.
