I’m waiting on a Colesworth delivery. Hope the driver stays safe and dry.

Waking me back to the 80’s. Walking home in the gutter overflowing with the monsoon level rain. Also the bike brakes squealing for grip down a hill.

High chance of showers to high chance of storms – how hard is it to forecast storms?

I went to the broncos last night … was drinking long story short I kept my kid home today … was feeling guilty like a bad parent… my daughter has ASD and rain and storms make her really upset like she has panic attacks … when my wife gets home..but darling she’s scared of the weather … she’s going to look at me with side eye and walk away .. not looking forward to repercussions for my actions that are coming

I mowed my yard yesterday and it felt like I went a little low. I’m welcoming this rain.

Already did the early pickup, it doesn’t avoid the chaos, it just allows the chaos to happen over a longer more controlled period of time.

Happens in Australia all the time. Whether in Brisbane or another city, you can bet there’s rain coming at 3:30pm when it’s forecast correctly
My kids used to love the car wash on the way home on a Friday too.

I will never forget picking up my kids from school in an atomic bomb thunder storm….and all the little kiddies coming out and opening up their umbrellas to walk home.
There were serious lightening strikes everywhere !
I’ve never crowded so many kids in my car….of course this would be frowned upon as well but all I could see was sizzled kids standing there with their lightening conductors !
