      >Stefano Voci, 43, has been identified as the man who bit the boy’s ear live during snooker coverage, but he’s explained that it was just ‘love and affection’.

It’s the love and affection people are concerned about.

      >My family is fine and closer than ever

      Still isn’t helping himself.

      >leave my family alone

That’s what people are wanting you to do…

Edit: somehow I’ve offended a bunch of nonces.

Should really have a sign on the sub if it’s got so many.

What a massive nothing burger this turned out to be.

      >Following review of the video, officers have determined no crime has been committed and the investigation has been filed

I’m more worried about the suspiciously eager pedo-hunters who jumped on this like a tramp on chips.  They seems a little disappointed.

    3. This actually adds nothing to the story. Of course he said it was a loving affectionate thing. Hardly going to say anything else is it.

It was very weird and was a red flag. I’m hoping it’s been looked into and is truly just a matter of a weird dad who lacks normal boundaries.

Don’t wrestle with pigs. You both get filthy and the pig likes it.

As for that shit rag of a paper.

To be fair, a lot of people on Reddit and other social media are emotionally stunted and probably don’t hug or see their dads. No wonder they thought the worst.

Perhaps it’s a continental thing that didn’t translate through an anglo / hiberno lens?

it looked like a father being playfully annoying or trying to wind up their son though.

The police investigated and have determined it was benign horseplay. Best to leave things be and stop assigning sinister connotations to things not borne out by reality maybe

I don’t care what this sub or this article says – that is not remotely normal behaviour. Creepy af.

    8. He was identified on Twitter when it happened. Absolute rabid mobs of idiots trying to ruin his life.

What is going on with Reddit these days? There’s three accounts in this thread at the time I’m posting this making divisive comments, stirring up hate.

All are brand new accounts, relatively speaking – none over 150 days old.

Almost every time I see similar comments in other threads, it’s the same – the absolute worst takes by the newest accounts.

He’s a bad nonce. I have two kids and I wouldn’t show affection like that. I’d find it weird to kiss my 5 year old on the lips. Fuck nibbling their ear. The kids response says it all, he’s a nonce.

It’s weird, really weird. But who gives a flying fk really…. Just busybody whiners with dead end lives.

Honestly, this is once again the internet being the internet. This is his son, this is probably just a family thing, some people still kiss their parents on their mouth which I find uncomfortable doesn’t mean anyone doing it is a pedo.I feel the internet sexualizes everything.

I can’t believe it. It’s as if social media is making me less informed, rather than more informed!

odd family tradition, but besides it being odd, kind of a dangerous thing to do lol, bite the ear, kid instinctively moves head around and wack, man has broken nose.

      Edit:

How has that offended someone? Are there many ear biters here then?

    15. No-Photograph-1788 on

….just to be clear everyone is justifying this behavior in the comments? Like, someone can actually say they have this same situation happen in their family as a normal thing to do?

      No judgement just wondering
