Apart from PM & cabinet, all other elected officials should travel economy/budget.
Should have to include details from all airlines to show best value (and have claim rejected if they don’t.
Absolutely no family member travel paid for.
Any rewards points, frequent flyer or other perks earned must be used for official travel, not private discounts.

They should also be barred from accepting any travel or accommodation (free or discounted) from any individual or organisation while in office.

Dodgy bribes for access need stamping out.

I voted in the SA elections saturday.

Early voting center had a one nation muppet out front who tried to jump on you.

“we’re working so hard to overthrow these dickheads and get Australia back”

Couldn’t give me any policies…. gave me a ton of racially fueled retoric, killing immigration, claims about cutting taxes, getting rid of woke, dealing with the dole bludgers etc and holding the bad guys to account.

Asked him where his people came from…. all these claims about being aussie, only to find out he’s second generation……

Asked him about why he’s got issues with so many races, claims multiculturalism doesn’t work and we need to make sure Australia is preserved, asked him what his favourite restaraunts are in the area, he listed a chinese place, a greek/turkish owned chippy….. he didn’t see the irony in that comment.

Said to him that scaling back on imigration would be a good idea but shutting the gate completely would economically isolate us as we aren’t generating enough doctors, nurses, aged care specialists etc, to which he goes, well we need doctors that speak english….. touche…

I ask how the tax cuts would work…… and how much tax he is paying and it went into some rant about rolling the GST back that made no sense.

I asked if cutting back on welfare and tax would help?

Goes into a huge rant about people taking from australia and not giving, how we need to train more people up, and we are spending too much and giving stuff away.

So i’m like, so you want to cut welfare recipients off, train people up and strip money out of wasteful programs like VET, think people like gina pay too much tax and need a break and we need to ban the 20 transgender people in australia playing sport at a semi professional level?

He agreed with me and couldn’t see what I had just planted.

I then asked what policies one nation had to actually do all this and he kept directing me to a website.

So I figured this was just some numpty who got roped into helping out the candidate and I had just humored him for a bit.

Went and voted and on the way out i’m having a chat with my local mp who’s been doing a great job, and our community really seems happy with the work they are doing…… and she’s had a lot of sexist abuse from a lot of dickheads there…. and I made a comment that the one nation volunteer over there had not even read their parties policies and seemed very confused and down a rabbit hole.

Find out that he’s not a volunteer….. he’s the candidate…

Meanwhile the disenfranchised classes will continue sucking her dick just like voters did with reform in the UK. We in for it big time next election.
