Oh wow. I knew Azaria back in the day, when the band was still called The Follow. I was wondering about that trip to Bali recently because it seemed so bizarre at the time that they went there – we were all migoreng diet broke, and when the stories started when they got back it seemed extremely consistent. I wondered why nothing came of it and here we are.

I love this comment –
Dibley was refused police bail to appear in court on Thursday. He has zero monthly listeners, according to his Spotify profile.

I remember that guy was on a reality pop show called Popstars on Ch7. He was pitched at the “bad boy” rocker type and tried a solo career after the show but then started a band called The Art.
Anyway that’s a literal shittonne of drugs, he’s going away for a long time.

Holy shit, I was wondering why there were tactical squad SUVs and ambulances en masse when I drove through Earlwood last night coming down New Canterbury Rd.

Jesus that’s a badly written article, especially the first paragraph, as it had little to do with the rest of the story. Sometimes these magazine journalists need a solid journeyman editor to go over the copy and remind them how to structure a story. Clarity above all. What had this Leeza Ormsby and her marijuana bust got to do with it? And did anything relate back to Bali? It ain’t clear, so why start in Bali?
The best advice to start with what happened, why it happened, and in the case of an important story, what are the consequences of what happened. You can tell this is not an important story because there are no consequences beyond the protagonists. The usual suspects were caught. Now, there MAY be consequences in such a story, and that would make it interesting. But there were none.
Oh and thanks for mentioning that an agent who manages other acts had nothing to say. You might as well mention that the local garage, who fixes other people’s cars, had nothing to say.

I know this makes me sound like a boomer, but I will never get over how face tattoos are normal now. That was a really transgressive thing to have for my whole life and now it’s no big deal.
