Children of the time remember "food for cosmonauts" – a large tube of mild-tasting apple marmalade and a smaller tube of stronger red currant marmalade.
In February, the blackcurrant tube marmalade production trials of the Polli Horticultural Research Center of the Estonian University of Life Sciences ended. Polli’s horticultural research center carries out versatile research in the field of fruit growing, from the breeding of apple, pear, plum, sweet cherry, currant, gooseberry and raspberry varieties to the research of cultivation technologies and organic farming of various crops. New varieties are also tested to assess their suitability, including winter and disease resistance, in Estonian conditions.
PlantValor, a competence center for knowledge-based health and natural products belonging to the center, offers small entrepreneurs the opportunity to use a product development center equipped with the latest technology and a test kitchen. The focus of PlantValor’s activities is the fuller utilization of plant material in food and non-food products.
The products of the Polli Horticultural Research Center can be bought in the cafes of the Estonian University of Life Sciences in Tartu, the Mulgi Experience Center, the Pops kitchen stores in Abja-Paluoja and Karksi-Nuia and the Konsumites there, as well as the Maksimarket and Konsumites in Viljandi and the Härjapea Talupoe in the Balti station market in Tallinn.

Parem ei proovi, rikun helged lapsepõlvemälestused ära.
Emakeele nimel.
Toote nimes suurelt: mustAsõstra_marmelaad, toote koostises väikselt: mustsõstramahl. Ja koma järel (õunapüree ees) pole tühikut. Ülearune tühik sõna “koostisosad” järel.
Keeletoimetajat, palun.
