      Their attacking was on form in the latter part of the second half though . Well done Tillys all class

      Losing 1-0 to a team that went 26-1 for the whole tournament isn’t a bad result, really.

      Nail biter game. I’m sad they didn’t get there, but they put in a good effort, Japan is a formidable team.

       End of an era. Likely the last time we will see this team play in a major tournament on home soil

      Terrible result but a great game. The last 20 minutes we just piled on the pressure. Congrats to Japan who held out!

      Japan won because of a moment of individual brilliance. Matildas should be proud of how they played.

      Those non-called penalties for Oz were wearing thin by the end of it.

      And every Japan offside had to be called by the flag not the refs despite most of them being blatant AF.

      Australian crowd was obnoxious and arrogant also saw too many Asian faces with Australian flags won’t be surprised if these people would be Chinese/Koreans/Filipino praying their best that JAPAN would loose lol .
