Since Flying Tiger does not have an Icelandic website, the only way they have to publish this recall is on Facebook, Instagram and in stores (I sincerely hope that it is being done there anyway). This has not made it to any of the major news sites, except for MBL in January, but now more glasses have been caught up in this recall.
But I really hate that people have to risk potentially long-term health problems (lead affects brain function and cadmium causes kidney failure, osteoporosis, cancer) for reimbursement for the glasses? These glasses cost a maximum of ISK 3-400 and some have been on sale since 2024, so some people have been drinking from them for at least 2 years. Children are especially vulnerable to this. I really don’t have words.

Takk fyrir að deila! Þau telja upp 6 vörunúmer en það eru bara myndir af 5 glösum 🤔 Ég á tvær týpur af tiger glösum sem báðar eru með blómum.. ætli sé ekki best að losa mig við þetta allt
Helví ESB að reyna koma í veg fyrir minn daglega skammt af blýi og kadmíum.
