  1. Once again, a Planzer bad service thread. Look at their delivery confirmation photo. I was at home when they delivered it, they could have rung the bell, they could have called, but they didn’t even bother, they just dropped the package like this, on top of the boxes, facing the street. I’m located in Lausanne center, and there has already been a lot of package theft. Crazy how they can do that.

  2. Pro tip. if you order from Galaxus you can select what delivery service you want Planzer or good old Swiss Post

  3. That is much better than my experience with them.

Last time they delivered, they dropped my packages “somewhere near” (not my building door).

My building has a supermarket at the ground floor and the entrance to the supermarket is not the same as to the apartments. They basically dropped it at the supermarket entrance and marked as delivered. Luckily they took a photo so I recognized the area and second this area is safe enough that no one stole it (or I was just lucky)

  4. Fill up a theft claim every time they do that.

Under Swiss law, the buyer bears the risk of dispatch from the moment the contract is concluded, unless otherwise stipulated in the seller’s general terms and conditions.

The key question then is did Planzer deliver the parcel “correctly”?

This is where it gets complicated. If the parcel can be considered as having been duly delivered (for example, placed in the letterbox), the postal service or carrier is no longer liable. However, if the parcel is too large for the letterbox and the delivery person simply leaves it behind the door, the carrier remains liable up to CHF 500 for a standard shipment.

I would also complain to Galaxus or whatever seller you chose.

  5. Ok-Marsupial-2172 on

Former driver from planzer here, ( with trucks not these types of small delivery)

These guys that do this have up too 200 deliveries PER DAY.

They have a phone wich tracks their progress trough the day, if one clients takes more than it should have the machine will immediately tell him he’s behind schedule, its a tough job with a lot of time pressure!

They simply don’t have time, if the item isn’t damaged and it was delivered by your postal boxes away from rain it’s ok, they are only obligated to take a picture, they don’t have to ring, the email system is supposed to notify you not the driver ringing and this is not just planzer who does it like that.

Sorry but we are all so spoiled!

  6. I had a planzer packet once delivered to the wrong house. I called to say they were full of shite and they sent the photo and I could clearly see that the house they delivered to wasn’t mine. They didn’t even bothered to photograph the house number. I sent them a photo with the correct front door. They agreed to reimburse me, I bought the item again, one day later the neighbour rang me telling me they have the initially lost package which had the correct adress, now I had two of the same item. Surreal…

  7. Oh lordy, I’ve got 5 cases of wine being delivered tomorrow from planzer, as a result of a drunken evening at Expovino last week. I really hope they don’t just dump it by the letterboxes.
