I found this in the garage. It was from my great grandparents maybe further in the bloodline yeah just wanted to show it. Does anyone know how much it’s worth? It’s just one page technically yeah it seems seem better days
I found this too. I think it’s like 1954 or something

It’s kinda cool, but doubt it will be worth much. I have a map of the east coast of Australia, probably 10 years older. I paid $50 for it.

Hey OP. Art Historian here.
This isn’t going to be worth thousands of dollars, maybe not even hundreds of dollars. The item itself is pretty damaged. Without the full newspaper or magazine, it’s pretty worthless to the average consumer.. that being said, this could be cool framed in your house, or you can try to pass it onto a museum (they rarely buy things), but usually these things are pretty valueless without the full publication.
You could get it professionally framed (a few hundred dollars) and get it archived with acid-free integrity. But really when you sell it, it comes down to the “eye of the beholder” and how they value it. But with the damage, this is going to deteriorate pretty fast with UV exposure, some of that looks like mould.
Look up what something like this goes for online, compare what you’ve got, and you’ve a pretty good idea from there.

That’s a record of the last time The Courier recorded actual journalism.

Ooh! The 1950’s – the real era of journalism in Brisbane prior to when they became gutter dwelling ambulance chasers.
Those must’ve been the days to look forward to reading the paper without a pay wall and clickbait shyte stories.

Maybe give SLQ a call, might be interested?
If not, I’m certain there would be a collector around who’d be keen on it.
