The European Parliament approves the text of a regulation for the establishment of repatriation centers in third countries, on the basis of what has been defined as the “Albania Model” launched by the Italian government.
389 votes in favour, 206 against and 32 abstentions. The EPP leads the group of those in favor, together with the Conservatives, the Patriots and Europe of Sovereign Nations (all the right-wing groups in the European Chamber).
Now the ball is in the Council’s court, following the ordinary procedure for approving a European regulatory act.

La “certificazione” del modello Albania a livello europeo da parte del Parlamento UE. Rimangono comunque molti punti interrogativi da risolvere, in particolare la questione legata agli accordi con i paesi di destino dei migranti da rimpatriare.
Certo è che sul tema immigrazione, a livello comunitario, i partiti di destra hanno il pallino in mano.
Voglio vedere quale altra scusa si inventeranno i giudici dopo due anni passati a combattere contro il governo per i centri in Albania.
