This is a bit misleading, since its based on HCD calculations which iirc defines “low income” as 80% of the median income for the area. This is the threshold at which you are automatically disqualified from HCD programs, it’s not supposed to be used as a measure of cost of living or anything like that

For some reason people on Reddit get butthurt when you mention $100k is low income in some parts of the country and will flat out not believe it.
