Woman 1977

Hi All,

I’ve purchased what I consider to be a beautiful piece of art at a market last year in about mid/late September. I’ve had it in storage for a while but today, my husband removed the backing of the frame and found that it’s a piece by Marianne Heksē from 1977.

I’ve done some research on it but I can’t seem to find anything available online. She seemingly would have just finished her studies in either France or the UK during this time and could be a piece of her earlier work prior to popularity.

Does anyone have any insights on the piece and potential value?

I’d still love to use the piece as a conversation starter in our home but if it’s anything of value, it would be considered a great investment.
