On September 16, 2016, the Polish Post Office issued an official postage stamp featuring The Witcher (Geralt of Rivia), created in collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED. The 6 złoty stamp depicts the protagonist and was issued as a collector’s block (mint: 180,000). An FDC (first day delivery) envelope was also available.

I remember Pan Geralt of Rivia, the voivode of Temeria and later grand hetman of the Polish-Lithuania Commonwealth. He eradicated most of the strigas around Warsaw in the 16th century, allowing King Sigismund, third of his name, to build the capital there.
