      Many seem to attribute this to the new government focusing hard on crime as well as a relatively stable period in organized crime with agreements and peace for the moment.

      And there are periods there is calm, nobody is getting killed = politicians take credit for it.

      In the end, gang affiliated violence wether shootings or whatever, will always exist.

      Is there any data on rapes and robberies? Would be interesting to understand if it’s a trend across multiple types of crimes or only homicides.
