I’m Egyptian and I watched parts of the match between Egypt and Spain yesterday. Thousands of Spaniards in the stands booed during our national anthem and chanted racist religious slogans. Football is an obsession in Egypt, and most Egyptians have witnessed these actions. Be better than that.

Apologies that was shameful. There are idiots everywhere and Spain unfortunately isn’t an exception. The irony is huge considering our best player is a devote muslim.
