Notice how small, independent businesses are screwed over big businesses owned by friends with the respective quotas. Far easier for a big business to get rid of people without having to close.

  2. I double checked this info and it seems true. Might work in a short-term on a battlefield, but it is definitely not good for long-term economy.

The thought of my employer getting to choose whether I like or die is scary to me. However, imagine being the corporate guy who picks which of his coworkers should go die in a meat grinder.

  4. Hahahaha what the actual fuck.

Imagine your boss having to decide who to send into the meat grinder.

I personally know some former bosses that would LOVE this opportunity. Especially if they could have this power over employees they’ve already fired.

Or they could opt to have another one of those revolutions they used to brag about and get rid of the current Tsar………..

  6. Yeah, the boss will identify “volunteers”. Then the government will “convince” them to sign up for service.

  7. Stal… I mean Putin’s purges are well underway. We’re carbon copying the 1930’s all over the place.

The boss called me into the office, and for a second, I actually thought I was getting a raise. Instead, I’m headed to war. Definitely the worst day at the office.”

  10. Hopefully Russia does not come back from this. They are a giant fkin thorn in the side of the whole world. I know I know, they are not the only ones, but still.

  11. That’s as good an indication as you could have that things aren’t going well. Hmmm.

  12. I’m glad I’m not in Russia because my boss fucking hates, he’d absolutely send to the meat grinder

  13. Wow and I think I have problems In my job. I’m gonna stop complaining … “boss.. I’m suffering burnout” boss: “leave it with Me”

  14. How many workers are just gonna snap and start killing their bosses?

Like, if you as a russian man get picked by your boss to go die in a meatgrinder, why in the world would you not just go medieval on their ass?

Finally get to deal with that guy who microwaves fish in the breakroom.

reminds me of ww2 when the Germans started to pull guys out of the factories, design bureaus and diplomatic services to serve as grunts.

  17. Eh, it’s a weird thing. The order itself contains zero sanctions for not sending anyone. And “candidates” kind of implies that some zealous and/or scared employers might send someone, that someone gets offered a contract with the military, they say “no” and leave.

Aand, potentially, prosecutor’s office might have a field day with this one, because recruitment is the federals’ job, and you don’t do federals’ job.
