I'm from Sydney but I did a gap year in 2002 in Brissie.
First time back in 24 years, and I brought the family.
it's changed a little!
A quick question..
Just wondering what this building (red arrow, 1st photo) is, and is it worth getting up there? It looks like Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (in fact I got a lot of Singapore vibes walking around).

That’s the star casino. There’s an observation deck up there you can visit. There’s a pedestrian bridge from south bank you can take straight to it, over by the wheel.

That building is Queens Wharf casino. Literally a poor man’s Marina Bay Sands
That’s the new(ish) casino. There’s a bar up there, nice view for some drinks.
Walk over, and find the lift up to the top. It’s usually pretty busy, but worth it.
That building is the new star casino, it has lot of good restaurants around it and the sky deck has great views.
Thats the star casino, and you can take an elevator to the top for a near 360 nice view of brisbane (and overpriced restaurants). Would reccomend going for the view, esp at night.
