I like how drones are slowly becoming like nuclear weapons.

Sure, they might not devastate or have the shock and awe factor of a mushroom cloud, but a drone swarm can overwhelm any kind of air defense and fuck up any kind of infrastructure very fast.

  2. What good would drone stocks developed today be even in 6 months, never mind in several years? In Ukraine war drones evolve all the time. Strategies that worked only few months ago become antiquated and it’s a constant race between two sides. And this is still with practically no AI at all in the drones or some very rudimentary AI. Once AI for battle drones would be developed, this will revolutionize war yet again. Because right now the limitations are number of operators and link between drone and the operator. This puts limits on drone tactics and depth of potential kill zone.
All current drones would be like WW1 tanks on a WW2 battlefield, useless and self-defeating.

  3. Still nowhere near enough. 1000 drones was enough to make news recently. Ukraine is on track to make 7 million this year.

  4. So with only relative numbers anywhere in the article this could mean they go from 1 to 5 drones in stock.
