I’m sure this will help decrease the tension in the Middle East!

  2. Nobody actually cares.

They’ve been doing this for decades despite it being a crime against humanity (population movement is forbidden within occupied territories by Geneva conventions)… and not even substantial sanctions were imposed. So anyway… whatever. Time to give up on humanity and move on.

  3. Will we see desionisification and dissolution of Israel like denazification and dissolution of Prussia after ww2?

Cool map bro, it’s still a genocidal state doing war crimes so we should probably try and stop these modern day nazi cunts.

Does anyone remember in 2012 during the Gaza War? I remember the BBC released a really good infographic on the expansion progress of settlements. I also remember reading about how the roman’s conducted the Samnite Wars. A lot of similarities; placement of settlements overlooking native ones, dividing communities with checkpoints, blocking water sources, and trade etc.

  7. You’re an EU citizen and you want to try to stop this ?

Sign [the petition](https://eci.ec.europa.eu/055/public/#/screen/home) for the full suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement in view of Israel’s violations of human rights on the European Commission website.

780k persons already signed. We reach 1 million and this will go to the EU parliament.

This agreement accounts for 30% of Israeli exports. Suspending it could put enough pressure on Israel to stop or at least slow down on the war crimes.

  8. I am so sick of that goddamned country.

So long as Israel exists, we will be condemned to have no peace. I’m certain of it.

    Israel is a problem.

Not so fun fact : Israel does not recognize the West Bank as a Palestinian state.

Israel maintains military and civilian control over the majority of the territory, which it refers to by the biblical names “Judea and Samaria”.

The government currently opposes a Palestinian state, pursues settlement expansion, and has taken steps toward de facto annexation, arguing the land is part of the Israeli homeland.

this kind of map always makes me pause longer than i expect because i remember staring at one like this late at night once, thinking i understood the situation, and then realizing i actually didn’t know nearly as much as i thought 😭 like the more i looked at it, the more questions i had instead of answers. it’s weird how something that looks so simple visually can carry so much behind it that you don’t fully grasp at first

  11. The issue of the West Bank settlers will truly be Israel’s biggest problem in this century.

Arguing in favor of Israel’s existence is easy.

Claiming that you are defending Israeli civilians from Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists is easy

Bombing Iran and other geopolitical enemies of the West is easy.

Meanwhile, attempting to excuse and defend the West Bank settlers is absolute PR poison, that is something that not even Israeli Jews are 100% on board on, the only non-Israelis that I have ever seen defending the settlers are either Evangelical cultists and Hindutva Nationalists, and that was it.

Hell, even Iranian diaspora who are very pro-Israel and anti-Islam are not that keen to defend the settlers either, especially when you mix the fact that the settlers are religious nutters in their own right, so the “Israel is a secular democratic liberal multicultural utopia in an ocean of religious barbarity” PR stunt doesn’t applies here.

As you can see on this comment section the only argument the settler apologists have is “but what about the Muslims?”, and that’s about it.

  12. Can someone explain to me how one country is allowed to settle within another’s borders? This isn’t Israel, why are they allowed to settle the West Bank?

  13. Of course that’s beautiful and moral, you should applaud it, and if you complain about it you’re antisemitic
