Animal research again. Can we stop torturing those poor beings and do it with computer models, in vitro, etc.

“The research underway here (and not yet peer reviewed) potentially points to a solution that rallies the body’s own cells to repair damaged joints.”

Not yet peer reviewed. As someone in his 50s with a collection of osteoarthritic joints who wants to remain active for a while longer, I’m really hopeful that one of these miracle cures out there actually works. But I’m not putting down the ibuprofen just yet.

  3. “Animal testing”, did that include dogs as they are frequent sufferers of osteoarthritis?

Don’t worry, capitalist parasites will find a way to charge you your soul for it.

But it causes bone cancer. I don’t know if that’s true but it’s nature your messing with. My mom took something to help her bone density and it likely caused her cancer. At least that’s what the professor of oncology at a top 20 NCI hospital theorized.

  6. Headlines such as this are a disservice to those of us suffering disabling joint pain.

  7. Too bad they will never allow the general public to have access to these types of treatments

Problem is what’s it cost! Every time they come out with a miracle medical solution it cost an arm and leg, out of reach to the average person

I’m waiting for the drug ad telling you side effects include impotence, losing eye sight, suicidal thoughts, liver damage, etc ..
