I was walking through the woods when a deer with a red thread around its neck (it looked like a necklace or something) attacked me. It gave me the beating of my life, and of course, I’m a pacifist.
My question is, am I the only one who’s been attacked by a deer, or are there other people like me?

You must have broken an oath. It is customary to send an attack deer with a red necklace to deal with oathbreakers.
Statically speaking, the chance of being randomly, unprovoked attack by deer/reindeer is close to zero. But this one has something manmade around its neck, could be a “pet” to someone and you happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
These animals usually go out of their way to avoid humans, but animals that has grown used to humans or handraised by humans developes differently in some aspects.
Who knows. But growing up near the woods myself I have never in my 35y of living ever seen a deer, moose or reindeer attack a person unless its provoked. And I have stood 5m from a bull moose in the woods myself and I survived by standing completely still and not make myself threatening. Of course, if its Rut season, it can go completely left field real fast, luckily it wasn’t that time of year when this happened.
It is very common to keep deer as guard animals in Norway. Same with badgers kept in roofs.

Looks (vaguely) like a red deer (Hjort) to me. It’s not quite birth season yet, or I’d say that was the cause. I think you were just unlucky and came upon a particularly cranky one, as they typically always run away.
Alternative theory:
This is the main character of a progression fantasy novel and it’s trying to level up by attacking you. Did you perhaps carry some deer related loot on your person?
Alternative theory 2:
Never try to dress up a deer. They have particularly strong feeling about accessories, and your red string simply won’t cut it.
